| I love this PSP protector. It's sweet looking right from the package Great protection for your PSP and you can customize it by placing pictures behind the rubber padding. You can go to http://www.modmypsp.com to download images to put into your Playgear pocket. I reccommend going to kinkos with these and getting them to print up a few of them on high quailty photo paper, they even cut them out for you. |
Best case for a handheld!

I was really tired of Sony's little soft case in my pocket, keeping me worried all the time that if something hit it, my psp would be damaged. After seeing my friend have one of these Logitech Playgear Pocket cases, I had to get one and it was worth every penny.
First off, security. This case is near indestructable, and you'll feel comfortable with this case on your PSP. The insides are made with a hard rubber that fits the PSP snugly inside to prevent any damage and the clasp is really strong.
Now moving on to style. The four corners of the PSP (L button, R button, Headphone jack and AC jack) have a small opening on this case so you can listen to music with the case still closed! There's also an opening for the Power/Hold switch and WLAN switch as well... though I don't see as big of a point to it. If all that wasn't fun enough, the rubber can come out on the top side of the case and you can print out your own custom insert or have a picture of your favorite game on the case! The PSP is also still playable in the case when it is flipped open, so you don't have to mess with taking it out every single time.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone worried about damage to their PSP. This will put all their worries to rest and it looks attractive to boot. |
Great quality, very sturdy, intelligent design, looks great!

I wasn't sure the cost was warranted for this case... until I held it in my hands.
I noticed the quality in it's weight. It feels very solid. The lid opens with a "friction hinge" so it stays put where you leave it. There are openings in the sides for access to the power, WiFi, and shoulder buttons, and more openings for the power cord, headset, and wrist-carrying strap, so that the PSP is playable from inside the case.
The case consists of two distinct layers including a thick clear plastic outer shell and a thick hardened rubber lining on the interior. The look is very sleek and resembles deep black glass or black marble. The PSP fits perfectly inside and is actually easier to play with the slightly larger dimensions. I noticed that the warmth from the battery was insulated from my hands which was nice and the lid could be propped upright to block light or help balance the weight while I was holding it. This may not seem like much but I was very grateful for the added comfort during long gaming sessions. I also noticed that the concave shape of the lid provided tremendous amplification of the modest PSP stereo speakers really adding depth to the bass tones and subtle stereo effects. Excellent!
The lid also opens up to a right angle behind it so that you can prop it up on a table or desk for watching movies. Amazing!
I completely charged the PSP while it was inside the case closed tight and there was absolutely no heat build-up, so it's safe at all times under all circumstances.
In fact I haven't taken it out of the case and can't imagine ever needing to (save leaning it forward to change UMD's). The portable power of the PSP is greatly enhanced by the intelligent protection of this Logitech case. A "must"! |
If you own a PSP, you need one of these

| The Logitech Playgear Pocket is the best PSP peripheral to be released yet. The nearly indestructable polycarbonate is suitable armor for the fragile PSP. You can also play the PSP while it is still in the playgear, a great feature. It is a little bulky, and makes the PSP have quite a footprint in a pocket. Other than that slight flaw, this armor is perfect |
