I bought this battery april of 2009 and it's dead already. It won't take a charge, I have to have the laptop plugged into an outlet in order to use my computer.I wouldn't recommend this battery. Lets see how long the new one I ordered last

The battery died shortly after the warranty. When I contacted the company they were no help. I don't think it was even a new dell battery as claimed. My first dell battery lasted almost 3 years.
This is a counterfeit battery with a "Dell" label slapped on it.

This battery is advertised as "GENUINE Dell", but it's a counterfeit. It works great, but I wouldn't have paid this much for a clone battery; you can get off-brand batteries for half the price. I purchased from this seller because I wanted a genuine Dell product. What I received has the Dell logo on it, but the sticker is rife with typos and is clearly a fake; the documentation is clearly (and honestly) non-Dell as well.
It keeps charge- Not!

The battery is good and cant beat the price. It arrived on the day it was promised. Happy that my laptop is alive again. I take my comments back, this one failed in a week so I opened to see what went wrong. The batteries are ok, but the electronic circuitry built within it went bad. So I ended up with a good battery that wont work! I bought another one later.
