The original AC Adapter for my Dell Inspiron E1405 quit after 3 years. I ordered the HQRP adapter on Monday, and it came on Thursday. It's working fine AND charges the battery too! I am happy with this purchase, and at a little over $20, even if it lasts half as long as the original Dell cord, I'll have gotten my money's worth. A new replacement cord from Dell is currently $119! Yikes! For that much money it should last longer than 3 years. I'm just happy I can use my computer again. Yeah!!!

HQRP power cord adapter works well with my Dell Inspirion 1501 Laptop and it is inexpensive. Highly recommended.
Dell Inspiron E1405 and this charger...

It works with the Inspiron E1405 perfectly. The cord seems a bit stronger too. The plastic power brick is a little lesser in quality than the official dell charger, but it holds up well all the same. Definitely a cheaper, better alternative to the expensive dell chargers. Also, I've been using the charger since late September to today, October 19th.
